I’m a huge fan of the Des Moines Public Library’s AVID (Authors Visiting in Des Moines) series. I also have great respect and fangirl admiration for the mightily talented and prolific Meg Cabot (of Princess Diaries fame). It is, therefore, with unabashed glee that I announce my participation in AVID this year as moderator for Meg Cabot’s talk (Tuesday, July 10, 7:00 p.m. at Hoyt Sherman Place, Des Moines).
My duties include an introduction and facilitation of the Q & A session. So, DSMers, mark your calendars for the event (all AVID lectures are free and open to the public) and prepare some interesting questions for our honored guest. I know I’m working on mine. Hmm. Do you think I need to worry about royal protocol? Curtsies and such?
Anyway, plenty of time to prepare. Couldn’t be more excited. Hope to see you all there!
